LANDING CONTROL CENTRAL SYSTEM

The landing control central system (tracking and
comparison radar) (LCCS) transmits Ka-band signals
from the carrier to the aircraft. The LCCS uses a
conical scan antenna. This radar system tracks
aircraft, and compares the aircraft position to the
desired glide path.
