CHANGE IN CUSTODY

A. . . . . . Acceptance.

(Use only to report the acceptance into the inventory of a new production aircraft. Normally used only by NavAirCom FS activities.)

F . . . . . . Receipt at End of an operating Period.

(Used only by specifically designated activities to report receipt of an aircraft returned for rework or retirement at the end of an operating period.)

G. . . . . . Receipt at Start of an operating Period.

(Used only by reporting custodians of an operating command to report the receipt of an aircraft beginning (not resuming) an operating period.)

R. . . . . . Receipt with Time in an operating Period.

(Used to report the receipt of an aircraft which is neither beginning nor ending an operating period and has time accumulated in current operating period.)

Y. . . . . . Reinstatement.

(Used only when reporting the reinstatement of a previously stricken aircraft, or the first addition of a used aircraft to the inventory. )

CHANGE IN STATUS

E . . . . . . End of an operating Period,

(Used only by a reporting custodian of an operating command to report an aircraft that has reached the end of a service period and the aircraft is enroute to or in the physical custody of a rework activity. The reporting or controlling custody does not change.)

H. . . . . . Start of Period.

(To be used only by a reporting custodian of an operating command to report an aircraft that has completed a standard rework and is beginning (not resuming) a period. No change in reporting or controlling custody takes place.)

M. . . . . Model Designation Change.

(To be used to report each instance of model designation change except those cases where all of a given model are administatively changed to a different model designation.)

S . . . . . . Strike.

(To be used only when reporting the strike (Status Code 1S, 2S, 3S, 4S) of an aircraft.)

X. . . . . . Other.

(To be used when reporting any change in status code which is not incident to actions represented by any other action codes. )
