You can find more information on the IFOBRLby referring to the applicable aircraft maintenancemanual.Cocking and LatchingBefore you load a weapon on the Aero 65A bombrack, cock and latch the bomb rack linkage assembly.To cock the bomb rack, you must insert a cocking leverassembly in the hoist bracket mounting hole (fig. 10-4).Pull the assembly back until the release unit plungercompresses. To latch the linkage assembly, turn thelatch knob as far as it will go in the direction away fromthe arrow. (This ensures the linkage is aligned forlatching.) Then, turn the latch knob in the direction ofthe arrow (fig. 10-5). Press the release bell crankforward until the sear roller rises above the sear. Then,return the release bell crank to its normal position. Ifthe sear roller does not rest on the sear or is not visibleabove the sear, rotate the latch knob in the directionaway from the arrow to force the sear roller down.The suspension hooks close independently of eachother. During loading of a weapon/store, the lugs pivotthe hooks on the hook pins to the closed position. Youmust inspect the hook latch inspection holes to verifythat the hook latch pins are securely held in the hooklatches.
