SPARROW MISSILE STATION TEST
SET
The Sparrow missile station test set (SMTS) (fig.
16-12) is used to verify the operational status and
functions of the AIM-7 Sparrow missile control
system. When connected to the aircraft, the MSTS
simulates the missile and provides visual indications of
received inputs. The test set is used with the F-14
aircraft.

perform operational checks of the HARM, Maverick,
