BLOCKS A08 THROUGH A14-JOB CONTROL NUMBER. Enter the next sequential JCN when the TD is scheduled for compliance.
BLOCK A19-WORK CENTER. Enter the work center code of the work center incorporating the TD. The actions of each work center involved in the TD compliance are documented on separate VIDS/MAFs.
BLOCK A22-WORK UNIT CODE. Enter the complete five-or seven-character WUC that identifies the system, specific engine, or component /part on which work was performed. In cases where removed repairable parts do not have a WUC assigned, you should use the five-or seven-character NOC code provided by the system, subsystem, sub-subsystem, or component part. The WUC is furnished to maintenance control by the primary work center involved.
BLOCK A29-ACTION ORGANIZATION. Enter the organization code of the activity that expends (or will expend) man-hours incorporating the TD.
BLOCK A32-TRANSACTION CODE. Enter code 41 or 47, as appropriate. (Code 47 is used only if entries are required in blocks E and G.)
BLOCK A34-MAINTENANCE LEVEL. Enter the one-character code that indicates the level of maintenance being performed. For organizational maintenance the maintenance level must be 1.
BLOCK A48-TYPE EQUIPMENT CODE. Enter the type equipment code that identifies the type of weapon systems, engine, or SE to which the TD applies. If the TD is applicable to a component instead of an end item, use the applicable Y- or D-series type equipment code.
BLOCK A52-BUREAU NUMBER/SERIAL NUMBER. Enter the bureau/serial number of the type of equipment entered in block A48. When using type equipment codes in the Y or D series, enter the six-position serial number or 0 in this block. If the TD is applicable to survival equipment issued to an aircrewman, enter the aircrewman's identification number.
TECHNICAL DIRECTIVE IDENTIFICATION SECTION. Enter the 12- or 13-character code that identifies the specific TD that is to be incorporated into the type of equipment identified in block A48. This section is divided into seven blocks that are numbered F08 through F19, as described below.
BLOCK F08-Interim. Enter an X to indicate an interim-type directive, otherwise leave blank.
BLOCK F09-Code. Enter the two-character code that shows the type of TD being incorporated (table 4-2).
BLOCK F11-Basic number. Enter the basic TD number in this four-character space. The basic number is preceded by a zero or zeros, if necessary, to complete the four-character field.
BLOCK F14-RV (Revision). Enter the alpha character that shows the specific revision of the basic TD. Leave this block blank if not applicable.
BLOCK F16-AM (Amendment). Enter the one-character numeric amendment number of the basic TD. Leave this block blank if not applicable.
BLOCK F17-Part. Enter the two-character numeric part number of the basic TD. Leave this block blank if not applicable.
BLOCK F19-Kit. Enter the two-character number of the specific kit to be incorporated. If no kit is required, enter 00 in this block.
(H-Z) FAILED/REQUIRED MATERIAL SECTION. This section provides for a complete record of ordering, follow-up action, and delivery status of the material and/or kit(s) required to incorporate each TD.
DISCREPANCY BLOCK. Enter any information that will aid in the planning or accomplishment of the TD, such as assisting work center(s), completion due date, estimated man-hours, crew size, SE required, etc.
ENTRIES REQUIRED SIGNATURE SECTION. This section contains the logs and records blocks provided to make sure that historical records are updated. The required actions are completed before the TD compliance VIDS/MAF is forwarded to the DSF for data entry. Maintenance control indicates (by check marks
