RETRACTION. --Moving the cockpit lever
vertical damper cylinder to raise the hook. When
the hook reaches the retracted position, it actuates
from the down to the up position puts tension
the up limit switch, which completes the circuit,
back onto the cable. This action moves the uplatch
mechanism forward to receive the arresting hook
energizing the arresting hook relay. This, in turn,
breaks the circuit to the selector valve solenoid
and latch it in the retracted position. As the lever
