exceptions. The spotting charge receptacles must be
checked to ensure they are clean, free of foreign material
and moisture, and not deformed.
CXU-4/B Spotting Charge
Prepare, inspect, and install the CXU-4/B spotting
charge as follows:
1. Check spotting charge for damage or leakage.
2. Ensure retaining ring and spring washer are
present.
3. Install spring washer at base of spotting charge
receptacle.
4. Slide spotting charge into receptacle and secure
with retaining ring (pliers may be required).
